Manual Therapy

Manual therapy doesn’t involve machines or tools. It’s a simple, skilled approach that uses hands to reduce the pain and improve mobility of joints, nerves and tissues. It can be related to the age-old,household method of curing muscle pain by applying pressure. The only difference being manual therapy is a more targeted application of pressure.

While there are various forms of Manual Therapy existing worldwide, we prefer select ones.

Manual Therapy techniques we prefer

  • Maitland
  • Mulligan manual therapy
  • Cyriax approach
  • Janda approach

How Manual Therapy works?

The prime objective of this therapy is to relax muscles and give relief to the patient. The muscles with pain usually get stiff; we help them relax by stretching and mobilising with gentle hands.
